Just wish to say a huge thank you to Roses. Yesterday Roses dressed our Mothers wicker coffin for her funeral. It looked stunning. Beautiful and bright as we requested, a huge display of all Mums favorite flowers. Top notch. Everyone said how stunning it looked and how much Mum would have loved it. I also asked for a display made up of 100% orchids. Again WOW. All different varieties, sizes and colours. Just stunning. Thank you again. So so beautiful. We stood our from the croud and made Mum proud. Xx

Went into this shop on the recommendation of a friend a couple of weeks ago to order flowers for a funeral service. I found the staff very helpful, pleasant &friendly, especially as I wasn’t really sure what I needed/wanted. The flowers we ordered were beautiful and good value also. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roses florist to anyone. Thank you.

Excellent service. Totally prompt. We ordered from Australia and the flowers were delivered the same day in London. The family receiving the flowers were so enthused with the selection. Beautiful and fragrant. So easy to order and pay. Would recommend them 100%. Cathy

I am so pleased by the creation you made for my grandmother's funeral. I find your consultation so helpful and you met her colour scheme very well. I was pleased with your professionalism and your patience in helping to choose. Your prices were very competitive and I am so pleased to use your service . Daniel MO Aug2018 On behalf of my family I would like to thank Charles and the team for the beautiful floral tributes they created for my late father's funeral on 31st July. The letters of the name tributes were exquisitely detailed and, despite being a hot day, the flowers all looked beautiful and fresh. Charles was always very helpful as were other team members we dealt with at the shop. My youngest sister ordered a large heart shaped tribute and Charles organised a bespoke stand for this and liaised with the funeral company to ensure it was displayed correctly. Thank you to all of you for your kind help and professionalism. We would thoroughly recommend your services, DK On a recent visit to the UK I had the pleasure of visiting Fleur Boutique in Mottingham. Wow! What a magnificent boutique florist it is. Charles and his team have pulled out all the stops on this one to make the shop an explosion of colour with delightful and stunning displays of floral arrangements. Their attention to detail is awesome and their service is first class. Whether you are in the market for a wedding or funeral order, or are just passing and want a bouquet of flowers, Fleur Boutique is the place to go. Ten out of ten Charles! Phil Priddy Australia. Tips - Caring for your flowers once they are delivered

Placing your flowers in vase half to two thirds full with lukewarm water, will help closed buds to start opening.

  • Be careful when un-wrapping a hand-tied bouquet as it is delivered in a water bubble to keep the flowers fresh.
  • Arranging your flowers in cold water should be avoided as this can reduce the their life in the vase.
  • Avoid puting flowers in metal or aluminium containers - glass is ideal. Keep your flowers in a cool location, away from draughts, direct heat or sunlight. Arrange once unwrapped
  • Your flowers may take up to 24 hours after being placed in water to reach their full potential.
  • Strip off all excess foliage and leaves below the water level to reduce any harmful bacteria within the water.
  • Bacteria can block the stem and stop the flowers taking up the water.unwrap. Flowers like their stems trimmed. So, trim them, at an angle with a knife (rather than scissors) by an inch or so. When trimming stems, always cut at an angle of roughly 45degrees; this increases the surface area allowing your flowers to absorb more water.
  • If a Rose starts to droop at the head, re-cut the stem, wrap the head in paper to support it upright and plunge 5cms of the stem into boiling water for about 30seconds. Cut the stem again and place in deep cold water for two hours.trim

Most orders are accompanied by a sachet of cut flower food which will encourage buds to open and help to prolong the life and beauty of your flowers. Top up regularly with water and flower food, removing any fading flowers. Ensure the floristry foam used in arrangements is moist and topped up daily; this helps to prolong the life and vibrancy of your arrangements.
